You’re Not Replacing Anyone—You’re Being Positioned
Let’s talk about something many bonus moms think but rarely say out loud.
Have you ever felt like you’re walking on eggshells, constantly reminding yourself not to overstep? Like somehow your presence needs to be carefully managed so no one feels threatened, uncomfortable, or displaced?
That pressure is heavy—and it’s not from God.
You were never called to replace anyone.
You were called to be positioned.
Replacement implies competition. Positioning implies purpose.
God doesn’t accidentally insert people into families. He places them—strategically, intentionally, and with vision we don’t always understand at first. Your role may look different than you imagined. It may come with limits, misunderstandings, or delayed trust. But different does not mean less important.
If you’ve ever found yourself shrinking—loving less, speaking softer, engaging cautiously—just to keep the peace, I want you to hear this: you don’t have to disappear to be faithful.
God-sized assignments don’t require you to erase yourself. They require you to show up with humility and confidence, grace and grounding.

You don’t need permission to matter in the family God placed you in.
